Here are some of the end user sales among Sedo’s $1.4 million in transactions last week.
Domain name marketplace Sedo handled 542 transactions last week for a total of $1.4 million in domain name sales.
End user buyers included two large pharmaceutical firms and one of the largest online travel sites. Notably, many of the end user purchases were by companies buying the .com that matches their existing ccTLD names.

NVfund.com $8,200 – Pharmaceuticals giant Novartis AG
Cobasliat.com $2,500 – another Pharma company, Roche, picked up this domain for its cobas Liat System.
GPD.co.uk $1,195 – GPD AC Limited, which bills itself as the UK’s only Dedicated GoPro and GoPro accessories dealer.
Floor2Ceiling.com $1,695 – Meadee Flooring Ltd in Reading, Great Britain.
CheapTockets.com $1,200 – CitizenHawk acquired this domain name on behalf of Orbitz, which owns CheapTickets.com.
CultureShip.com 1,499 EUR – Consulting firm Cultureship GmbH, which uses Cultureship.ch, went global with the .com.
MindMedia.com $3,888 – Mind Media B.V. in Netherlands also got the .com to match its ccTLD, in this case .nl.
2connect.net $899 USD – 2Connect Bahrain W.L.L., a Middle East telecom company, shortened its domain name from 2connectbahrain.com. It does not own 2connect.com.
Hille.org 1,000 EUR – Hille Holdings LLC, which owns Hille.us.
Vercor.com $2,530 – Atlanta-based M&A advisory firm Vercor. It uses the domain name VercorAdvisor.com.
Siper.net $799 Montgomery, New York lawyer Randy Siper bought this domain to complement his Siper.com domain name.
Intropia.com $7,500 – Clothing brand Hoss Intropia, which uses HossIntropia.com for its web address.
Gauri.com $3,000 – Yet another company buying a .com to match its ccTLD. In this case, Gauri Ltd., owner of Gauri.co.uk.
InfinityGroup.net $2,500 – the New York investment firm by the same name. They don’t own the matching .com.
