Domain name company lands outside investment and releases upgraded domain development platform.
Domain name development company Domain Holdings has raised $2.9 million in funding.
The company was founded by domainer Chad Folkening, who was later joined by Advertising.com co-founder John Ferber.
The company also released a complete rewrite of its Rapid Domain Builder, now called DomainPower. It helps domain name owners create SEO friendly web sites.
The $2.9 million will be used to further enhance the DomainPower platform.
DomainPower competes with a number of tools created to help domainers develop and monetize their domains, including Epik and WhyPark. These types of tools have had to adapt over the years to avoid falling into the trap of “mass development”, which eventually gets penalized by search engines.

Very intresting developments.
When you look how easy it is to deploy a WP site and even get ranked you can imagine that certain stuff just gets automated with user input.
Whypark does this a lil.
I had good results with http://benepark.com/
a totally automated solution. with good results i mean making cash. There are still a few things that need tobe fixed imo.
What domain power is offering looks alot like http://www.commercialmicroportals.com/blog/
i need to give that one a full test drive. But it requires more work for sure.
Domain power i haven’t tested it yet. But it seems they tap into the same pool as the above mentioned ones.
Very intresting development. Think i will dump a few domains on this platform also and see how it performs. If it is a solution that works and pays back on renewal fees then those are solutions that domainers would love building their portofolio.
